Carbon emissions is causing climate change, resulting in higher temperatures, more droughts, rising sea levels and more extreme weather. A low carbon economy and green growth envisage the integration of all aspects of itself from manufacture, agriculture, transportation and power-generation, etc., around technologies that produce energy and materials with little GHG emission.
